In Adam’s class we are going to explore the boundaries of our imagination connected to the physical body. The primal source of movement will be our senses, especially from within our skin. We’ll dive into sensations and imagery where there is no distinction between reality and imagination, between inner and outer sensation. No distinction will be made between the body and its relational milieu/environment. We will try to expand the boundaries of our body and senses, by understanding how we in our “normal”/ neurotypical live are told that value resides in subtracting from the welter of experience. The deficit model of sensation begins with the assumption that senses are fixed and located…
We will dive into a chaos of exercises and tasks to eventually find our own way of truly moving like our core limitless and hypersensitive creature.
Next to this we will also explore some of my recent repertoire and do creative tasks.
