Dynamic Phrasing was initiated nearly 15 years ago by Maciej Kuźmiński, and has been regularly taught in Codarts and ArtEZ among others. The classes at Conny Jansen Danst are the first open classes of the method in the Netherlands, during which two pillars of Dynamic Phrasing will be introduced – first a warm-up of DP I – the Loop, followed by DP III – phrases & repertoire.

Bio
Maciej Kuźmiński, born in 1985, is a Polish choreographer, pedagogue and producer. His independent works form the repertoire of Maciej Kuźmiński Company.
He is the first Polish-born graduate from Rinity Laban Conservatory in London, where he completed the BA Dance Theater and MA Choreography studies, both with distinction.
Since 2014, Kuźmiński’s works have been presented over 300 times in 22 countries. The artist has won over thirty international awards and distinctions for his performances created for the Maciej Kuźmiński Company. Since 2009 Maciej, is developing an original method for movement and composition called Dynamic Phrasing, which is the base of his artistic work.
In recent years Dynamic Phrasing has been taught in conservatoires like Codarts, ArtEZ, Fontys, PERA GAU, IDA Anton Bruckner Privatuniversität, Belgrade Dance Institute, Trinity Laban, University of Calgary. In January 2023 two new teachers of Dynamic Phrasing were introduced after a year-long teachers training course.
Since August 2023 Maciej Kuźmiński is based in Rotterdam.
