Conny Janssen Danst provides opportunities for young talent through DANSLOKAAL, the talent development project where young artists are invited to develop new work together with the dancers of Conny Janssen Danst. In its annual DANSLOKAAL the dance company opens its doors to a varied group of creative artists.
For each event artistic director Conny Janssen, one of the leading choreographers in the Netherlands, selects promising choreographers with diverse backgrounds in collaboration with Dansateliers and Korzo. The contributors to

In DANSLOKAAL they get the opportunity to work on the development of their own signature within the professional context of the company. The result is a surprising dance evening with three new pieces, created for and with the dancers of Conny Janssen Danst.
DANSLOKAAL 11 premiered during festival Nederlandse Dansdagen in Maastricht. Followed by the Rotterdam premiere in the intimate setting of HUIS Conny Janssen Danst and then tours the theatres. This gives the loyal audience of Conny Janssen Danst the opportunity to become acquainted with the work of these young, up-and-coming choreographers, who in turn can bring their work to national attention.
