By attending the Ballet Gala, you are supporting both new and established Dutch dance talent. An evening filled with the art of dance, for everyone who has a passion for dance.

About FRAMED | Window on the City

FRAMED is a cinematic narrative that brings together film footage and music to reveal a shared story. We observe a day in the life of twelve city dwellers, each with their own rhythm, routine and desires. Dancer Yanaika Holle is one of them. At the Ballet Gala, Conny Janssen Danst presents her striking solo from this full-length production. In this powerful solo, the dancer is literally left to her own devices. She creates her own space for movement within an area of just one square metre, bounded by a simple stool that serves as her stage. An intimate dance fragment that evokes the constricting limitations of the COVID-19 lockdowns.
