Conny Janssen Danst is pleased to announce the appointment of two new members to the Board of Trustees. As of October 2026, Joost Ector and Isabelle van Woerkom will join the board. With their broad expertise and passion for culture, they form a valuable asset for the future of the company and HUIS Conny Janssen Danst in Katendrecht, Rotterdam.
Joost Ector – new chairman
An eye for public space and quality
Joost Ector (Eindhoven, 1972) graduated cum laude as an architect from Eindhoven University of Technology. Since 2002, he has been co-owner of the Rotterdam-based architectural firm Ector Hoogstad Architecten, which focuses on creating sustainable designs for complex public buildings, with an emphasis on education, science, and research. Joost brings a wealth of administrative experience; he is, among other things, chairman of the Commission for Environmental Quality (Commissie Omgevingskwaliteit) of the municipality of Utrecht and a member of the boards of trustees of the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra and Design Museum Den Bosch.
I consider it an honor and a great pleasure to commit myself as a trustee to Conny Janssen Danst. Isabelle van Woerkom – new member, financial portfolio

Isabelle van Woerkom is an independent advisor, manager, and trustee with extensive experience in social organizations, including education. She studied Cultural Economics and Cultural Entrepreneurship in Rotterdam. Thanks to her background and years of experience in realizing complex social challenges, she is the ideal person within the Board of Trustees to carefully monitor the business and financial interests of the company. Isabelle holds a warm heart for the city and its cultural life and has been following Conny Janssen Danst for years as a loyal visitor.

As of December 1, 2026, Joost Ector will succeed Bert Determann as chairman, who is stepping down from the Board of Trustees after eight years.
