Dimo about his ballet class: “While teaching a ballet class I am looking to activate the muscles with softness and constant movement, opening the joints, making space in the body to allow it to expand and move freely and efficiently.”

Bio:
Born in Bulgaria, Dimo Kirilov Milev has danced with companies such as the National Opera of Sofia, Jeunne Ballet de France, as a soloist in Ballet National de Nancy et Lorraine, and as a principal dancer at Compañia Nacional de Danza under the visionary direction of Nacho Duato. Since becoming a freelance artist in 2009, Dimo has gained recognition as a choreographer. His works “1/2 Waltz” (with Gentian Doda) and “Aimless” won multiple awards, including first prizes in Copenhagen, Hannover, and Burgos. He has created pieces for T.H.E Dance Company (Singapore), Compañia Nacional de Danza, Landerer& Company, Bolshoi Ballet, NDT2 and for his own independent projects
Currently, Dimo continues to thrive as a choreographer, teacher, and assistant, sharing his artistry and inspiring the next generation of dancers.
