Internship audition ’26/’27 – registration open now

Conny Janssen Danst is having an audition for internship dancers for the next season on Saturday 28 February and Sunday 1 March (2nd round) 2026.

For the season 2026 – 2027 Conny Janssen Danst is looking for strong, physical contemporary dancers with a unique personality for the ROOM FOR TALENT program for dance students. Within this program you will work with various choreographers. We are looking for team players who have a versatile technique and have a creative mindset. The contribution of the dancers to the artistic process is essential.

PLEASE NOTE!
– The internship period will run from 10 August 2026 until the start of summer 2027.
 You are required to confirm your availability in this term by writing in your application.
– During this period, you need to be registered as a student at an official dance academy.

Apply for audition before 1 February 2026.
– The final selection of participants for the auditions will be announced on February 9, 2026. You will receive an email for this. After this date, you can send your questions about audition to audities@connyjanssendanst.nl

Your application form should contain the following:
– CV
– Motivation letter in which you describe clearly why you’d like to dance at Conny Janssen Danst
– Clear and recognisable portrait picture [max 2 MB]
– Hyperlinks to YouTube or Vimeo videos* containing:
1. Performance trailer (max 2 minutes) with solo/duet material (no group material)
2. Short improvisation (min. 1, max 2 minutes) in which we can see your own movement language and qualities
* (Please do not protect your video’s with a password if possible)

Deadline to apply: 1 February 2026 – Only complete applications will be considered!
– These auditions are for dance students only, who are registered at an official dance academy in year ’26/’27. No student or are you already graduated? Then you cannot apply for these auditions.
