Margarida Silva

There’s something about watching a dancer up close that feels almost too personal, yet it never ceases to amaze me. That’s the power of a dancer—being able to introduce yourself through dance, inviting others into your unique world, and allowing the crossover of languages, styles and everything imaginable! Being a dancer is also empathizing, listening, waiting, trusting, falling, conquering... Ultimately, it is a deep human experience. Margarida Silva (intern)

Nice to know about Margarida:
– I care deeply about people and have always been fascinated by how they behave—the way their eyes move, the rhythm of their breathing, the way they frown or smile—all in an effort to understand them better. I’ve always tried to anticipate and meet others’ needs, often guessing what they might be thinking, almost as if to say, ‘I’ve got you.’

– In july 2024 I created and performed my very first solo piece “There, not There”.
