About Lela’s class ‘Improvisation based contemporary’
The improvisation based class will explore the possibilities of the body connecting with personal creativity and inspiration. You will be guided through specific tasks, in order to train, warm up and broaden your limits. To get inspired by each other, grooving together, and to develop your own movement language.
Bio
Lela Di Costanzo is a multidisciplinary artist and choreographer based in Amsterdam. After graduating from the Dance Arts Faculty and completing her internship with Spellbound Junior Ensemble, directed by Mauro Astolfi in Rome, she started her freelance career and has worked with renowned international choreographers, touring across Europe, the USA, and Asia. She has performed in both original and restaged productions by Danielle Agami, Ohad Naharin, Shahar Binyamini, Lesley Telford, and others. She is also the co-founder of the multidisciplinary project Freckle Red Lipstick. In addition to her work as a performer, Lela serves as an assistant choreographer and rehearsal director, contributing to the development and refinement of various artistic creations. Currently, she is focusing on her research exploring the interaction between psychology, sound, and movement while continuing her path as a performer, creator, and teacher in and outside the Netherlands.” —
