About Kenedy:
Kenedy Kallas is a professional dancer, teacher, and performing artist. She has danced throughout Europe, with the renowned Nederlands Dans Theater 2 and the Hessisches Staatsballet. During her time with the companies she originated roles in 20 new creations, with choreographers that include Marco Goecke, Imre & Marne Van Opstal, Paul Lightfoot, Sol Leon, Xie Xin, David Raymond, Tiffany Tregarthen, Tom Weinberger, Dimo Milev and others.
After six years in the companies she began to freelance. Her time as a freelance artist has been spent working closely with, creating with and performing new creations by Dunja Jocic, Raquel Nevado Ramos, Dimo Milev, Josie Walsh and Brett Ishida.
For Kenedy, dance is the embodiment of sensation, energy and emotion. Dance, to her, is profoundly sacred and innately human, it is magically healing and deeply rooted. Dance is what connects Kenedy to source and to all things.
