Dance has always been a source of connection for me. Whether it's with music, an audience, or a duet partner, the bonds you form when dancing are intense, visceral and lasting. From an early age, I fell in love with the chaos of dancing in a company and the committed, collective effort it requires to put on a dance production. From within this community I have witnessed so much humility and love, and I’ve always admired how dancers are able to take their work seriously without taking themselves too seriously. Josiah Davey
