Bio
Sophie Tukker (Dutch) and Carmine Vigliotti (Italian) are two dancers and choreographers based in Rotterdam. Sophie, graduated at Fontys Academy of the Arts, bachelor ‘Contemporary Urban’. She worked at Conny Janssen Danst and performed in pieces by Conny Janssen and Astrid Boons. Currently she is freelancing at ISH Dance Collective where she performed in the productions ‘Dorian’ and ‘Amsterdam 750’ in collaboration with The National Ballet Amsterdam.
Carmine graduated at Codarts University of the Arts and worked from 2021 until 2024 at Conny Janssen Danst. He performed in pieces by Conny Janssen, Zino Schat and Fubunation.
In 2021, Sophie and Carmine founded their own collective, Mind in Movement, and created their debut piece ‘Calling Myself’, which won 1st prize at The Netherlands Choreographic Competition 2022. In 2023, with support from ISH Dance Collective, they created ‘Strings of Conformity’, performed at ISH’s Open Podium Event. And their latest work, ‘Beyond 26’, was presented at the Essential Festival 2025 in Essen.
